Inside Labor Room

I was actually been induced to deliver on 30 Aug 2007, as I’ve mentioned, my waterbag level was at the low side. I entered labor room at 9am and I asked for epidural injection to reduce pain. My hubby were at my side at most of the time while mom once a while since only a person (normally husband) will get the authorization to be inside labor room.

I was scheduled to delivered another at least 7 hours before I can safely deliver my baby without any extra assistance. At 9am, the cervix-open was at 3cm. With the epidural, I managed to rest and sleep. Once a while nurse on duty came and checked my condition. At 1pm, cervix already opened 8 cm. And my gynae and nurses were already got prepared for the delivery process.

To cut my story short (I’m a bit dizzy…:P) I finally gave birth on the 30th August 2007 in 38 weeks of pregnancy. Baby's mass is 2.92kilos. He's healthy and really really cute. Thanked Allah syukur for the best gift I ever had. I safely gave birth to my babyboy at 2.55pm. It was truly an experienced I will never forget and that’s why some people said, “you would never appreciate your parents until u have children of on your own”..
